The Lewis County Sheriff's Office is building a list for Entry Level Deputy. The department will be establishing a closing date in February to be announced.
Salary Information: Base salary ranges from $4,292 (Step I) to $5,286 (Step VII), yearly step increases to year seven, education incentive, longevity, and specialty pay depending on assignment. A lateral candidate will be placed at a salary step commensurate with his/her qualifications and experience.
Benefit Information: Employer contributes 95% toward medical, dental, vision plan premiums, VEBA account, paid vacation and sick time, eleven paid holidays, deferred comp available.

Academy Certification:
You must successfully pass all testing and examinations, which measure ability to perform essential job functions. These tests may include but are not limited to physical agility, oral, skill, polygraph, psychological, medical, and background investigation.
Prior Experience:
We will send you to training at the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission.
