Troop #32609, Girl Scouts of Northern California Council, will be attending the Ancient Mariner Regatta, to be held at the aircraft carrier museumUSS Hornet, Alameda, CA.

Date: May 23-26, 2008

Depart:Friday, 1600AT BOAT

Return:Early afternoon Monday (we will call when approximately 45 minutes out)

BRING: This permission slip, $90.00, sleeping bag, toiletries including shower gear, warm jacket, ship T-shirt, ship sweatshirt, extra jeans, underwear, etc., casual clothes for dance (must be closed-toe shoes, no flip-flops allowed!), dress uniform for Awards Ceremony (MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR TIE AND HAT AND BLACK SHOES!!).

We will be departing on the boat after loading all gear on board. We will be staying aboard our own boat at Alameda. Showers and meals will be provided.

As always, parents are welcome to visit and observe your crew members in action! There is a $12 fee to board the USS Hornet for visitors for this event.

NOT ALLOWED: Cigarettes, alcohol, drugs, etc. (If I can’t, you can’t!!)
