Official Releases are activities that include but are not limited to Press Releases, Press Statements, News Articles, Media Events, and Asbestos Updates. This activity can involve publication at anytime within a 24 hour period, weekends inclusive. This activity requires the participation of one employee and a possible backup. The estimated time used to perform one item is approximately 30 minutes.

6.2.1Process Flow Breakdown

Activity Code / Activity / Responsible / Process
1.1 / WebCom builds web page / K. Caruthers / WebCom receives email request and begins to build new page.
1.2 / Enter VSS to checkout 2 index files / K. Caruthers / WebCom enters VSS and checks out two index files.
1.3 / Build new page and test it / K. Caruthers / A new link is added to each file and the web page is then constructed. It is then tested in Internet Explorer.
1.4 / Enter VSS to check in 2 new index files / K. Caruthers / Index pages are checked back into VSS after modification.
1.5 / Add new pages / K. Caruthers / New pages are added to Htdocs_new folder on Houebiz203.
1.6 / Share with QA_new / K. Caruthers / Share two new index files by performing ‘get latest’ in QA_new and updates the current Houebiz203:8080. They are then tested in Internet Explorer to make sure the links work.
1.7 / Script used to push staging / K. Caruthers / On Houebiz203 a web page script is then used to execute the push command automatically.
1.8 / Script used to push to PRD / K. Caruthers / On Houebiz200/201 a web page script is then used to execute the push command automatically. Hal.com (production) is then tested.
1.9 / Modify config file and push to production servers / K. Caruthers / The three most current updates are updated on HalDev by opening the configuration file and adding the new code/text. Next this is automatically copied to HalStage. They are then manually copied to the Halworld live servers (97/77) and tested there.
1.10 / Inform uses via email the the changes are live / K. Caruthers / Email is sent to PR, Investor Relations, Webmeister, Maximilukim (Russia) and other necessary parties.
1.11 / User copies over new material / User / Max (Russia) takes created files, translates them and transfers to Russian site. All others are aware of live status.

6.3Investor Relations

WebCom group will update or create a new page for the Investor Relations department on both Halworld and Halliburton.com. This activity requires the participation of one employee and a possible backup. The estimated time used to perform one item is approximately 30 minutes.
