3.Concluding discussion on DireDate results
DireDate consortium will present the outcome of the Final Workshop of DireDate project held on 28 March and the final recommendations of the Diredate project.
Eurostat invites the members of the Working Group to an in-depth discussion on the results of the DireDate project and the options proposed for data needs and collection. / DireDate progress reports + Task 8 report (technical document for final workshop)
4.Priority data needs at farm level
Based on the main data requirements and potential synergies identified by DireDate (tasks 4 & 5), Eurostat will presentthe data needs that should be fulfilled in priority in the future AEI data collection system.
Eurostat invites the members of the Working Group to an in-depth discussion ontypes of data needed to compile most of the AEI, i.e. structural data, production data, economic data, etc. / ?
5.Existing and future AEI data collection system(s)
Eurostat/AGRI will present existing data collection systems such as the FSS, Crop statistics, FADN, CMEFas well as current developments and possible evolution. In addition potential new data collection systems and scenarios will be presented with the aim of identifying a gallery of alternative solutions to form the basis for future decisions. EEA will present the data flows related to these issues through the EIONET Agriculture network.
Eurostat invites the members of the Working Group to an in-depth discussion on how to best integrate data collection, in the perspective of increasing cost-efficiency and reducing respondent burden.
6.Planningfor a sustainable AEI data collection
Eurostat will present the possible next steps to undertake to create a sustainable system of AEI, considering the parallel discussion on the future FSS.
Eurostat invites the members of the Working Group to an in-depth discussion on how to proceed to set up the AEI data collection system.
7.Statistics on mineral fertiliser use in agriculture
Eurostat will proposeashort- and medium-term solution for producing harmonised fertilisers statistics based on production and trade data such as data from Member States (Prodcom in Eurostat), FAO, and Fertilizers Europe. / CPSA/AE/097
8.The Joint Eurostat/OECD questionnaire on available data and nutrient balances
Eurostat will inform on the state of play and achievements of the Joint Eurostat/OECD AEI Questionnaire and Nutrient Balances.
9.Dissemination of AEI data
Eurostat will present the latest developments indissemination of AEI.
