COMMENTS: Methane probe MP# 3 exceeded the LEL (5%) at the property line. NMED will be notified immediately along with the steps taken to protect the public health. The probe will be resampled within 5 days. If an exceedance still occurs a plan for remediation will be prepared and submitted to NMED for approval and will be implemented within 60 days of initial detection.NOTE: Be sure to use the stabilizedCH4 reading not the highest CH4 reading. Just record the high reading on the field notes. Make sure purge time is adequate for well depth and diameter.
