Our history
We started when Nana Smith decided to share many of the items that she and Grandpa Smith had collected. Nana Smith was amazed what she and her husband had collected. Their house and garage were overflowing.

We have seasonal events throughout the year. Celebrate Christmas with us at our annual Yuletide Celebration on December 18, 2013. Each year this event sells out quickly so if you want to be there get in touch soon.

Tables surrounded by plants, artwork and antiques make the restaurant a destination. Our chef and attentive staff will make your dining experience worth repeating.

Our Cafe Seasonal Events
Chef Martha Leon prepares special menus for seasonable events throughout the year. Try our turkey and dressing with pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving or our cranberry walnut torte at Christmas. Our Christmas menu is the most delicious you will find anywhere.

Christmas Celebration
Celebrate the Christmas season with us our annual Yuletide Menu on December 18, 2013. Each year this event sells out quickly so if you want to be there get in touch soon.
July 4th Bar-B-Que
Celebrate the 4th of July spirit with pulled pork, potato salad and coleslaw. As with all our events the deserts are a big reason to be there. Our July 4th desert specialty is a dark chocolate cake with red raspberry topping and fresh whipped cream.
Crab Festival
We hold our annual Crab Festival on the third Saturday of October. You can each as many crabs as your can pick. If you love fresh steamed crabs this festival is for your. Try our homemade salads and deserts to round out your meal.
Thanksgiving Days
Instead of a single day we have Thanksgiving Days. Come by our café during November and enjoy a homemade Thanksgiving meal that you do not have to make yourself. Not only is there a roast turkey with all the “fixins” but delicious deserts such as her pecan pie, blueberry cobbler and bread pudding.

Explore Smith Antiques
Smith Antiques has been a historic Williamsburg landmark since 1942. Located near Colonial Williamsburg off old Richmond Road (HWY 60) our spacious and ever changing store is the largest antique space in the area. We have over 250 different vendors that bring a wide assortment of products to our large facility.
Smith Antiques was an idea that started when the extended Smith family decided to sell many of their collectibles. For many years 88 year Grandpa Smith collected woodworking tools and a variety of mechanical items. His wife Nana Smiththought it was a good idea to pass these unique items to a younger generation since their garage and workshop were overflowing. To help get things started she agreed to sell her antique plate and china cup collections. Once they started many members of their extended family including brothers, sisters, cousins and nieces and nephews became involved. It became a family adventure. They opened the first Smith Antiques store and were immediately welcomed to the Williamsburg antique community.

Nana Smith’s inspiration spread
Nana Smith’s inspiration for making space around the house became a topic of great interest to her friends. Other families asked to be involved. The Smith family decided to expand their store by incorporating the wares of many other families in the Williamsburg area. Now there are more than 250 regular vendors with overflowing stall along isle after isle of items. Now generations of local families bring an usually wide variety of items to Smith Antiques.
