The international flights are only for participants from Germany, while the flights in China should be taken by all corresponding excursion participants. CA966 (4 July 14:50 Frankfurt/Main to 5 July 6:30 Peking) is the unique flight, which has still enough places in lower classes. And we can organize a city tour 6 hours after the arrival (about 13:30 to 20:00 Peking Time). Please see the following plan:
l Jul 05 (MON), arrival at Beijing International Airport at around 06:30am, transfer to the city to check into the Xijiao Hotel, about 3 hours break, lunch in the hotel, afternoon (around 13:00pm) depart from the hotel to the Forbidden City (the best preserved and the largest imperial palace complex in the world), also visit the Jingshan Park to get a bird’s eye view of the whole Forbidden City from the central top pavilion which is also the very central point of the city Beijing, then, have a short stop at the Tian’anmen Square to experience the largest city square in the world, which equals to 24 soccer fields in size. Tonight enjoy a Peking Roast Duck dinner at Quanjude Shishahai Lake Restaurant (including the duck presentation), after dinner, those who wish to enjoy a glass of beer at the local bars may remain at Shishahai Lake area and self-manage the transfer back to the hotel at a later time.
l Jul 06 (TUE), 8:30 to 19:00: Sino-German Conference (see the attached flyer). The conference building is just 10 minutes walking from our Xijiao Hotel.
l Jul 07 (WED), morning till 13:30: Sino-German Conference. After a easy lunch we leave the hotel at 14:00pm for the Great Wall at Badaling section, tonight dinner will be at Changping County. Transfer back to the hotel by 21:30 in the evening.
l Jul 08 (THU), 6:00AM transfer to the Beijing International Airport, after arrival in Nanjing at about 9:50AM transfer by bus to the Salt Cavern Storage of Natural Gas in Jintan, arrival in Jintan about 11:45AM, after lunch and visit transfer by the same bus to Shanghai at about 15:00PM, arrival in Shanghai about 17:30PM, free time in Shanghai.

l Jul 11 (SUN), for Group 1: back to Germany, for Group 2: flight over Beijing to Daqing (the biggest oil field in China)
l Jul 12 (MON), morning 9:00 – 13:00: Workshop in Daqing: EOR & New Drilling Technology, afternoon 14:30 – 18:00: visit the oil field, polymer-EOR and gas storage
l Jul 13 (MON), 10:00AM leave for Harbin by bus, 13:00 – 19:00PM city visit in Harbin, after dinner transfer by bus to the airport Harbin, over Peking back to Germany
