COOPERATIVE WORK EXPERIENCE EDUCATION

Willits, SPRING 2016

Cooperative Work Experience Education (CWEE) courses allow you to earn college credit for learning or improving knowledge and skills in the workplace. You can earn up to 8 units in one semester. Students can be paid employees, volunteers/interns, or self-employed, doing most any kind of work. Each unit you wish to earn requires that you work 75 hours (60 if unpaid) per semester (about 5 or 4 hours per week), and complete one Learning Objective. At the end of the semester you will also complete one self-assessment per Learning Objective. You will not have to come to classes (other than an initial orientation); all learning occurs on the job. CWEE units are CSU transferable and count towards financial aid.
