Overall it has been pretty quiet
3 theft from vehicle – instances leaving items on seat in plain view
GTA – left keys in car
B&E – got in a shed and took an air compressor
Anti-crime report – Jeff Peterson
Dylan Crouch – was on home detention – is now AWOL but there is a warrant out – call Jeff or Officer Morrison if you see him
Hookah bar – the owner has been trying to get his business reopened – filed an appeal
Coming before land use board in October – would be helpful to have someone from HSPI there to discuss what’s been going on – could put some letters together from neighbors

Current internet speed in the city of Dayton is very slow
Fastest speed currently available in Dayton 50 megabyte down, 5 through TWC
Extra Mile Fiber is looking to bring high speed internet to the city
This can help be a marketing tool for our neighborhood – raise property values
Working to finalize agreements w city of Dayton by end of this year

Almost $1900 netted from Shindig this year
Report from the Board
Shindig event was a success – the weather was not ideal, but we still had a good turnout and generated almost $2000 in revenue.

South Park neighbor Mike DiFlora working with Dayton Citizens Police Academy – will be presenting some ideas to the member meeting in the future.
