To Kill a Mockingbird
“You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view . . . until you climb into his skin and walk around in it” (Lee 30).
Task:Create a newspaper reflecting the culture of a small Southern town and the United States during the 1930s.
The contents will include:
- A cover story about the Tom Robinson case
- Biography of Atticus Finch
- Biography of the Ewell Family
- Two articles that reflect national news of the period
- Articles reflecting small town rural life (one per person)
- An editorial page (one editorial per person)
- A sports page(one article per person)
- An entertainment page (one article per person)
- Advertisements(one per person)
Requirements:
Each article requires one direct quote and indirect quote (paraphrasing).
Works Cited page correctly formatted.
Newpaper printed on 11x17 paper for class distribution.
This is a team project- each member must actively participate in the project.
We are using Google Drive.
You must proofread and edit your work and someone else's work.
