Mighty Wash to Host MDA Fundraiser

HELPING SELL SHAMROCKS AND PROVIDE FUNDING FOR MDA SUMMER CAMP FOR KIDS

LUBBOCK –Mighty Wash, one of the region’s premier automobile cleaning businesses is set to host another fundraiser for a local charity – MDA.

The Muscular Dystrophy Association's annual Shamrocks program has hit the halfway mark and is encouraging residents in the Lubbock area to purchase a Shamrock in support of children and adults affected by muscle disease now through March 17th, 2015. To date, Mighty Wash locations have sold $4,476.25 worth of Shamrocks!

In addition to selling Shamrocks, Mighty Wash at 6212 19th will be generously donating a portion of the proceeds from all car washes to MDA on March 6th & 7th, 2015. Funds donated by Mighty Wash will help send area children affected by muscular dystrophy and related diseases to MDA summer camp at Ceta Canyon in Happy, Texas.

The program also helps to support MDA’s worldwide research program and national network of 200 medical clinics, including the two MDA Clinics in Lubbock, Texas. Without these clinics, MDA families would have to travel to Dallas, Texas. MDA provides equipment to registered MDA families to help ensure they have the best quality of life possible.
