I am a proud member of the Officers’ Spouses’ Club (OSC) of the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in Twentynine Palms, California. The Officers’ Spouses’ Club is a tax-exempt 501(c)4 organization that provides philanthropic support to the military and to the high desert communities of Southern California. Approximately 21,000 military personnel and their families live and/or work aboard MCAGCC in support of our nation’s freedom and security, and the high desert communities visibly support those service members (both on base and deployed) and their families in Twentynine Palms by providing goods, services, and experiences.

Last year, through special events like our benefit auction, $19,000 was awarded as scholarships to 12 children and spouses of military personnel stationed in the Twentynine Palms Area. Additionally, the OSC was proud to award $16,000 to 25 area organizations, including the Copper Mountain College Foundation, Reach Out Morongo Basin, Joshua Tree National Park Association, the Boys and Girls Club of the High Desert, City of Twentynine Palms, 29 Palms Community Food Pantry, and Sky’s The Limit.

Our goal to support military dependents and the community can only be accomplished through the generosity of companies like yours. In the past, many businesses and organizations in this area have donated products and services to be auctioned off at our Annual Benefit Auction in February. Please consider helping our organization by providing any kind of donation (i.e. monetary or business-based gift certificate, product, or service) for this well-attended event. Your donated items and/or services will help to raise money and allow us to continue serving our military dependents and our local community.
