The pool is a 6-lane, 25-yard competition pool with a 4-foot minimum depth, non-turbulent lane lines, and fully automatic Omega electronic timing system and scoreboard with a lane/time/place display. Bleacher seats provide ample seating for spectators. Ample parking is available in the east parking lot of the high school.

The Carpet Capital Aquatic Club welcomes and encourages the assistance of certified officials and apprentices from the visiting teams. Please contact the Meet Referee in advance or when you arrive, if you are interested in officiating. Please arrive at least 60 minutes before the start of the session. All officials must present their current Georgia Officials certification and USA Swimming membership card; and wear them on the deck at all times while working the meet.
SAFETY MARSHALL: / The Safety Marshall for this meet will be Julie Tharpe.
COACHES: / There will be a mandatory Coaches’ Meeting at 8:20 AM on Saturday, April 26 in the hospitality room. Coaches will be required to sign in and show their U.S.A. Swimming coaches Registration Card. Coaches must wear their current Registration Card at all times while at the meet. The pool will be cleared during the meeting.
ELIGIBILITY: / All participants must be USA Swimming registered athletes. Entries will not be accepted without 2008 registration numbers. On deck registrations will not be accepted.
TIME STANDARDS: / As noted in the order of events for this meet.
RULES: / The current USA-S Rules and Regulations will govern the conduct of the meet, unless noted otherwise herein. All coaches and officials must wear current year USA BADGES on deck at all times.
A swimmer's age on the first day of the meet will determine his or her age for the entire meet. Swimmers are responsible for swimming in assigned heats and lanes.
Dive-over starts may be utilized at the discretion of the meet referee and meet management.
WARM UP: / Georgia Swimming Meet Safety Guidelines and Warm-up Procedures will be in effect at this meet. The Meet Director will post and announce the warm-up assignments prior to the start of the meet warm-up. Swimmers attending the meet without a coach must report to the Meet Director or Referee to be assigned a coach for warm-up prior to each session.

ENTRIES: / Teams who have HYTEK'S Meet/Team Manager should submit their entries on a 3-1/2" disk (please send in COMMlink file format or WIN-MM format). E-mailed HYTEK entries will be accepted. Entry forms must be completely filled out including the swimmers’ best times for yards. Please provide a written copy of entries for verification purposes. Disks with results will be returned at the end of the meet.
DISABILITIES: / Swimmers with disabilities are welcome and must complete the attached Information Form for Disabled Swimmers and return it with the entries.
DEADLINE: / Entry disks and/or printouts, summary/release sheets, and entry fees, including surcharges, must be received by the Meet DIRECTOR on or before Monday, April 16. Late entries will be accepted for empty lanes only; new heats will not be created. All swimmers entering late must show their USA registration card to the clerk of course to verify their current USA membership.

FEES: / $4.00 per individual event; A $2.00 GA swimming surcharge will be added for each out-of-state swimmer. Late fees: $8.00 per individual event.
Please make checks payable to: Carpet Capital Aquatics Club. All entry fees are non-refundable.
LIMITS: / Swimmers are limited to 5 individual events per day, exclusive of relays. TOTAL meet entries will be limited to 350 swimmers in the order received.
MEET FORMAT: / This is a timed finals meet. All events will be pre-seeded and swum according to the order of events in the meet information sheet.
AWARDS/SCORING: / THIS IS AN ALL TROPHY MEET. Trophies will be awarded for places 1 through 6 for both "A" and "BB" events. Trophies will be awarded by time swum. Heat winner ribbons will be awarded in all 10 & Under events. There will be no team scores.

.1 All Clubs, including seasonal clubs, shall ensure that all athletes and coaches participating in USA Swimming sanctioned competition(S) are members of their LSC and USA Swimming.

.2 All coaches of USA Swimming clubs, including seasonal clubs, shall join USA Swimming as coach members and shall satisfactorily compete safety training required by USA Swimming.

302.4 False Registration – An LSC may impose a fine up to $100.00 per event against a member coach or a member club representative signing a document which indicates a swimmer is registered with USA Swimming for a meet when that swimmer is not properly registered.

I also acknowledge that I am familiar with the rules of USA Swimming and Georgia Swimming, Inc. regarding warm-up procedures and meet safety guidelines, and that I shall be responsible for the compliance of my team’s swimmers with those rules during this meet.
