We are gathering snack supplies to feed all the hungry kids who come to our Maker Fun Factory VBS. Next time you're at the grocery store, drop a few of the listed items into your carts: then bring them to the GNC kitchen, marked for VBS, by June 5th OR donate $ (leave it in the Church Office) for snacks and we will pick up the supplies (especially the stuff we need FRESH):

OPPORTUNITIES FOR MINISTRY:
KidzStation Jr. Leaders
(3 years old - Kindergarten) We STILL have a critical need! Our current leaders need a break, You, and a helper, spend an hour and a half with some of the most interesting and wonderful people in our Church! There is a curriculum guide you can follow and snacks to share while you teach little ones about the Bible stories and how much Jesus loves them.!!! If you are interested or have questions, please contact Pastor Kathy 433-0846. CURRENT NEED: 1st Sunday of the month leaders and 5th Sunday of the month leaders. Training and curriculum are available.
MARRIAGE-TO-MARRIAGE- If you would like to take the assessment and go over the results just let Derek or Karra Waggoner know. The assessment takes about 30 minutes to complete, per person, and costs $35. If you would like to take the assessment but don't have the money, we can help you with that too! Just let us know!
FREE ON-LINE BIBLE STUDIES: The Churchhas a subscription to this on line Bible study resource. It's at You may use it any time, any where on any device (computer, laptop, tablet and phone), Check it out.
If you are having trouble using it, please contact the Church office and we will be glad to help. When you open up the site be sure to log in (top right hand corner). If you haven't done so already, you will need to set up your account and password. There are some excellent Bible studies that you could use personally or for a small group.If you need another e-vite for this program, contact the church office.

TO OUR FBC FAMILY: We want to thank all of you for the encouragingcards, calls, and most of all your prayers. Bill has completed his chemo and we are once again asking for your ferventprayers as he is ready for his biggest step yet in this cancer walk. He will be having a radical cystectomy (removal of his bladder and nearby lymph nodes). His prostate will also be removed even though it is not cancerous. The surgery is May 16 at 12 noon at Kansas Medical Center in Andover and is expectedto be a 5-7 hour surgery. Dr. Tim Richardson, from Wichita Urology, has very strongly stressed how extremely serious this surgery will be. Needless to say, we covet your prayers. We truly love and thank you! GET SIGNED UP FOR VBS!!! We need as many children pre-registered as possible.
June 12th - 16th 9:00 - 12:00 Noon Each Day
Our Program will be June 18th at the 10:23 Service.
BE A V.B.S. CREW LEADER!!
This year our VBS theme is "Maker Fun Factory" Created by God Built for a Purpose.
Crew Leadersneed to be high school age or older (some middle schoolers can work as preschool crew leaders). Crew leaders will take a crew of children around to Music, Bible Discovery, Imagination Station, Game Makers and KidVid Cinema.
We need about 30 crew leaders. These leaders will be with their crew of 5 - 6 children throughout the morning. No preparation needed, just be there to help the kids and the presenter if needed. Sign up by calling the church office (431-2910) or Pastor Kathy (433-0846). Be sure to give your T-Shirt size.
We will have another VBS meeting for ALL leaders on Tuesday, May 23rd at 6:00 PM.
We are also looking for folks to lead these areas. And people who are also good at creating some very wacky decorations!!! Contact Pastor Kathy to volunteer or if you have questions. This is a new and different VBS!
Every Tuesday at 6pm we will be working on decorations for VBS!

MUSIC MINISTRY
WORSHIP CHOIR:
We will be singing for the 10:30 AM worship service, this Sunday, May 14th. Our next rehearsal is Wednesday, May 17th at 7:00PM. Also, we will rehearse May 17th, May 24th, and May 31st before we take our summer break of one rehearsal a month.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

Kidz Station Junior(for [potty trained] kids 3 years old through kindergarten) we will meet in room 107 & 108 across from the nursery in the main building this Sunday. Parents: please register your child at the nursery desk.
On the 5th Sunday of the month, kids worship with their parents.
Parents, we would love for you to help out once a month. Just contact Pastor Kathy or let the teacher know what Sunday you can help. (We always need extra hands for snacks, crafts, and bathroom breaks.)
