Celerity Announces Addition of

Three New Sales Managers

CUPERTINO, CA (October 21, 2002) - - Celerity Digital Broadband Test, a division of L-3 Communications Corp., announced the appointment of three new regional managers to its sales team. Jim Balent, Ed Okorn, and Bob Lovill will be responsible for sales, customer service, and market development in each of their regions. Jim will be responsible for channel sales to and through the other L-3 Communications divisions. Ed and Bob will be responsible for the Northeastern US and the Southeastern US respectively. “We are very excited about the addition of these three new Sales Managers, who join our Western Region Sales Manager Lucy McGuire,” said Sue Guzman, Vice President of Sales. “Celerity has a proven track record of providing products and solutions that solve the toughest test problems in the industry. Our new sales team will benefit our customers by getting Celerity involved early in the process, helping them to reduce their risk while saving time and money.”

Jim Balent joined the company as the L-3 Communications Corporate Channel Manager. Prior to joining Celerity, Balent was employed by National Instruments as Business Development Manager and Product Marketing Manager. For the Northeast region of the US, Ed Okorn is the new sales manager located in Cleveland, Ohio. Prior to joining Celerity, Okorn was most recently employed by General Electric as Commercial Sensors Sales Manager. Prior to working at General Electric, he held the position of Midwestern Regional Sales Manager at Iotech, Inc. As the Southeast Regional Sales Manager for Celerity, Bob Lovill is based in Raleigh, NC. Before joining Celerity, Lovill was employed by Agilent Technologies as an Account Manager. Prior to working for Agilent, he held the position of Southeast Federal Sales Manager at Tektronix for 14 years.
