Dear CHS Band Parents and Students,

On Friday the 7th of Oct., 2016. at 1 p.m. band students will embark on our annual journey to a place with sparkly sand, bon-fires and lots of candy. That’s right, you are going to Band Camp!

On this fabulous expedition you will be challenged to tie ties, eat chocolate, honk away at new music, and form friendships that will last a lifetime.

In order to insure that there is a high level of school spirit at athletic events this coming school year we’ll introduce and jam to tunes that will make the crowd go wild! Also included in this three day package is a crash-course in marching. That’s right, marchin’ isn’t just for the Army any more.

All band students are expected to attend this event as it forms a bond among all band members new and old, as well as builds the confidence of incoming players. There are limited scholarship funds available on a first come first served basis. If there is a financial need, please contact Mr. Betts by note, e-mail() or phone(503-353-5810 x38130).

PARENTS!

This is a great value! For a cost of $155($145 if registration and min. deposit is received on time) not only will your child make new friends, but they will also receive breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. That’s not all…this price includes transportation, rehearsals with clinicians, a place to sleep, a private concert by professional musicians and plenty of parental supervision. After an action packed weekend, your child will enjoy a leisurely lunch at the famous Tillamook Ice Creamery as the band makes their way home.

However, this adventure wouldn’t be possible without the important help from parent chaperones. If you feel that you have the qualifications for having fun, loose a little sleep and other miscellaneous tasks, then please contact us to offer your assistance at (503) 353-5810 X38130. Past parents have loved this experience and it can’t be pulled off without you!

Sadly, like all good things, this trip will have to come to an end and we will return on Sunday the 9th of October between 4-5 p.m.

Students will need to bring $15 for lunch on Sunday.

Payment:

Minimum deposit of $25 and registration form due by Thurs., Sept. 15 to receive a $10 discount. Registration and/or min. payment received after Thurs., Sept. 15 will be assessed a $10 late fee. A $10 late fee will also be applied to any student account not paid in full by Tues., Oct. 4.

REFUND POLICY:
