Purpose

The Science and Industry Endowment Fund (SIEF) requests reports to assess progress of the Postdoctoral Fellow against the agreed milestones and to monitor proper use of the SIEF funds.

Instructions

Milestonereports for SIEF Postdoctoral Fellows are required to be submitted in the attached form to the SIEF Manager by 1 April each year, or for the final Report, within 3 months of the conclusion of the Project. Reports to be submitted via .

The Primary Supervisor must note:

  • Please expand tables as appropriate.
  • Please limit the amount of text provided to that indicated; include relevant information to allow a complete, accurate and not misleading account of the Project and Fellows progress.
  • A statement indicating the Finances associated with the Fellowships must be completed as part of the Report.
  • Once complete, the Primary Supervisor should submit electronically a pdf copy of the signed Milestonereport and a word/excel version (unsigned) of the Milestone report to the SIEF Manager.
  • Certifications are made on behalf of all the Collaborating Organisations, and therefore the Primary Supervisor should consult with all Collaborating Organisations as appropriate prior to signing the certifications.
  • The SIEF Manager may refer your MilestoneReport to a reviewer (who may be external) for an independent assessment or seek further information from you in relation to the MilestoneReport.
  • The report must not contain any confidential information - you must black out any confidential information so that it is illegible.
