Facilities Condition Analysis

To the Mt. San Jacinto Community College District, (hereinafter called the District):

Theundersignedproposer agrees to furnish all services as required for the completion of a facilities condition analysis in accordance with the proposal documents and hereby agrees to enter into a contract for these services if the District accepts this offer.

The proposal amount is to be stated in figures only and is the total proposal amount for the entire contract work including all applicable taxes and every other item of expense, direct or indirect and incidental to the contract.Any alteration, erasure, or change must be clearly indicated and initialed by the proposer. The proposer agrees that if there are any discrepancies or questions in the figures, the District will use the lower figure despite the proposer’s intent. The proposals must be submitted for the entire work described herein. Deviations will not be considered and will be cause for rejection of proposals. The District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive all irregularities.

The proposer shall provide a lump sum bid in the space provided below and a bid on each of the alternate items in the spaces provided below. The alternate items are an integral part of this proposal and to be responsive, the proposer shall quote for the base bid and also for the alternates. The District reserves the right to award the contract on the basis of the base bid alone or if the budget does not allow, on a basis of deductive alternates and unit costs.

1. Lump Sum Base Price = Entire District Facilities (~ 401,000 sq. ft.)

Base bid price quotations must be lump sum fixed fee for the entire District including infrastructure. All costs, expenses, and profit must be included in this fixed lump sum fee.

2.Deductive Alternate - Infrastructure Price

Provide separate lump sum fee for services related solely to the infrastructure. Attach a list of all items / facilities that would fall into this category. All costs, expenses and profit must be included in the price. Provide a separate cost for the San Jacinto campus and the MenifeeValley campus.

4.Square Foot Price(s)

Budget constraints may require that the District award a partial contract for selected buildings. Provide square foot price quotation for partial work scope. If necessary the Proposer may provide a list of square foot prices that covers a range of square footages. All costs, expenses, and profit must be included in the square foot prices.

  1. Allowance

The Proposer shall include an allowance in the amount of $20,000.00 in their fee proposal. The allowance will be used by the Proposer for any potholing for utilities or minor demolition that is required or necessary for a more thorough inspection and / or clarification of conditions. The Proposer shall obtain written authorization from the District for any and all uses of the allowance prior to actual use. Any unused allowance shall be returned to the District at the completion of the project.
