These are the stops that we are proposing to cut as part of the Mobile Library Transformation.
The current five urban mobile libraries will be deleted from the service.

6. / Community Service Mobiles
We will also be reducing our current three Community Services Mobiles to two in order to make this service more efficient and cost effective.
Work is currently underway to achieve this reduction by January 2011.
We are deleting stops that are no longer viable and transferring customers to other services where this is more appropriate an supportive for them, eg to Centres Deposit collections or Home Library service visits instead.
7. / Other Mobile Library Routes
The remaining mobile library routes will need to be revised in order to maximise efficiency, so some re-organisation will be required as part of the Transformation process. Detailed routes and timetables will be completed by January 2011 and will then be circulated to all affected customers.
