*Berehaven Red Cross Defibrillator group annual fundraising sponsored walk on Sat April 7th leaving Ardgroom at 9am, walk to Eyeries then Castletownbere and across on the Ferry opposite Supervalu walk to the East end and back to Castletownbere from the pontoon. Proceeds to help maintain defibs and provide training courses. Join us for some or all of the walk your support would be much appreciated.

*Youth Pilgrimage to Taizé.The Diocese of Kerry will take a group of 15 young pilgrims to Taizé, France on Sunday, July 1st 2018.Taizé is a place of pilgrimage with a special welcome for young people. The group will return to Ireland on Sunday, July 8th 2018. The group will be accommodated in dormitories in Taizé. Meals will also be provided. Cost is €500.00. Reflection.
As we go through life we all experience little deaths.
We get a foretaste of death when we live
in bitterness, loneliness, sadness and despair.
In times like these the world closes in on us,
and we seem to have one foot in the grave.
But we also experience little resurrections.
When we know love, acceptance, and forgiveness:
when we open our hearts to others and to life,
the world opens up and we emerge from the tomb.
Lord, may the splendour of your resurrection scatter the shadows of death,
And enable us to walk in radiant hope towards the kingdom where there are
no more shattered hopes or broken dreams.
