The Miranda rights are basic Human rights that are intended for individuals who are suppose to be humans. This paper will list the entire process me, Raul Mata, Ryan Perry, and Moises Garcia, went through to finish this paper.
Many choose a topic as they assume all will approve of their idea, but in reality not everyone likes the choice. Through a series of contemplations, discussions, and brainstorm sessions, Moises and Raul discovered that the best topic had literally been right in front of us the entire time. While researching, Moises and Raul remembered something about Miranda rights they heard in a movie (21 Jump Street). Ryan overheard them talking about their topic during breakfast after a cross country run one morning. They were talking about possibly making a movie/documentary. While Ryan and I already were in a group together, he volunteered to help them by maybe working their camera. Later that week, Moises offered us a spot in his group because his team only consisted of 2 members, as did ours. Ryan and I both joined their group. So we met and reviewed the topic . It turned out we liked what we saw. We changed from a movie/documentary to a website. Conducting various Research meetings on the topic would not be hard to us at all.
Conducting research was a bit more tricky than it should have been so the team rather than working in the same location together, we decided to spare time and use the NHD due dates to our advantage by gathering research separately. Having done so allowed us to get our Annotated Bibliographies done and get the facts we needed. Describing the actual process of finding the data itself, we used references from to reliable sources from collections of data like Blogs, Encyclopedias, and basic website postings. Our research was conclusive and very decisive in our efforts. Astonishingly, all of the group was capable of acquiring the research from of the internet with significant speed, which would help us make a significant decision later.
Selecting the presentation category was a rather simple matter by making a basic assessment of all our attributes and skills we found out our strength was based on the understanding of tech. Meaning we would be more likely to succeed if we built an interactive website using our everyday understanding of the devices we wield today. Just to make sure before moving ahead any further the team confirmed in a unanimous vote we should definitely do a website leaving no doubt we went ahead and umped right in. After making sure it was in accordance to all regulations including National History Day’s theme.
"How does this relate to the NHD theme?"one may ask, well since this years theme is Human Rights we believe Miranda Rights are something basic that all humans must to have. No matter what Nationality, past or Values and even practices one may carry out. Miranda rights have to be given to a person who is suspect of a crime and is subject to further investigation. Since it is specified that Miranda rights have to be given to one who is under investigation one can only assume that individual is human furthermore making it a human right according to the U.S. Constitution.
