As a presales associate sales consultant, you will work as a member of a sales team to solve business and technical problems for prospective clients and customers. You will uncover and understand customer goals and challenges and establish Oracle’s Technology, Cloud & Hardware products as the best solution available. You’ll develop and deliver high quality customized presentations and demonstrations, present and articulate product features and benefits, product future direction, conduct architecture reviews, proof-of-value, proof-of-concept, prototype and provide overall Oracle solutions that highlight customer value.

Job Description

Preferred Qualifications:

·  BS degree (GPA of 3.2 or greater preferred) in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, or related degree preferred.

·  Strong technical aptitude, understands coding languages, programming, database, and Cloud technology concepts, (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).

·  Ability to discuss key industry issues at multiple levels (C-Level to Functional Managers)

·  Self starter, confident, driven with strong organizational skills

·  Fearless presentation skills, ability to build rapport / business acumen

·  Strategic thinker & professional communicator

·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·  Entrepreneurial spirit, likes to try new things, doesn’t need to wait for guidance

·  Comfortable in a metrics-driven organization

Responsibilities

·  You will uncover and understand customer goals and challenges; establish Oracle’s technology, Cloud offerings, or hardware products as the best solution available

·  Helping Customers evaluate Oracle Technology solutions, (SW, HW, Cloud), via onsite or remote POC’s, POV’s or developing working Prototypes.

·  Actively maintain an in-depth product knowledge in Technology Solutions, including:

·  competitive offerings

·  all solutions enabled by Oracle’s Technology, Middleware, Data Management, Intelligence, Cloud and hardware products

·  portfolio of case studies of implementations

·  links to development teams

·  general technology market trends

·  Design and demonstrate solutions that generate excitement and exemplify our value while articulating our competitive advantages

·  Interact with customers virtually through innovative web 2.0 technologies

·  Strategize with sales reps on account and territory plans
