ENJOY AN INCREDIBLE LIVE JAZZ PERFORMANCE AT THE LONDA HOTEL

The celebrated Londa Jazz series continues to entice guests to Londa’s award-winning Caprice restaurant in Limassol, with Israeli saxophonist and composer, Lenny Sendersky, Israeli virtuoso bass player, Ehud Ettun alongside local Jazz musicians, Leonid Nesterov and Andreas Stephanou. The Jazz ensemble will perform a thrilling blend of Jazz styles, from swing to funk and ethnic Jazz on Sunday, April 9th.

Ehud Ettun was born in Israel and started playing the piano at the age of six. At 12, he began to play the guitar in various youth bands in Jerusalem. At 16, Ettun joined the Israeli Arts and Sciences Academy and thereafter attended theNew England ConservatoryinBoston on a scholarship A band leader and composer, Ettun has released two albums; "Half Colors Half Voices", which is a collaboration with pianist, Uriel Herman, and "Heading North", a self-composed album. As a sideman, Ettun has collaborated with top musicians fromIsraeland theUnited StatesincludingFred Hersch,Eli Degibri,George Garzone,Anat Cohen,Miri Mesikaand others. He has also performed at thePanama Jazz Festival,the Red Sea Jazz Festival,the Blue NoteJazz club,Kennedy CenterinWashington D.Cand other classical and Jazz venues.

Lenny Sendersky was born in St. Petersburg, Russia, and gained his repute in the Russian jazz scene as a visionary composer, performer and producer. His compositions have been performed by international jazz musicians, including Randy Brecker, Joe Locke, Alexi Tuomarila, Amos Hoffman, and many others. Sendersky has lived and performed in Denmark for two years. In 2011, he moved to Israel, where he established himself in the Jazz scene by performing and successfully producing projects featuring Israeli, American and European Jazz artists. His recent co-produced album with Tony Romano was recorded in New York City, and features contemporary jazz giants, trumpeter, Randy Brecker and vibraphonist, Joe Locke.

Leonid Nesterov began his music career in Latvia and has been living in Limassol since 2010. He performs with various musicians around Cyprus with whom he shares his passion for Jazz, alongside musicians from the Baltic States, Germany, Cyprus, Russia and Israel.

Andreas Stephanou is often hailed as one of the best drummers in Cyprus. He began playing percussions at the age of nine and has performed live with various musical groups in band competitions, concerts and recordings. After his service in the military philharmonic orchestra he continued to study percussions with George Koulas, and in 2007 he was accepted at the Rotterdam Conservatory in Hollandwhere he pursued Latin Jazz. He has performed in various projects such as The Hague Festival Latin Fanatics with musicians from all over the globe, with Nelson Faria, Anna Ellis de Jong and others. He currently performs at musical venues all over Cyprus.

The Caprice’s cool Italian styled restaurant, flanked by the tranquil azure waters of the Mediterranean, offers the ideal backdrop to enjoy vibrant Jazz sounds brilliantly performed by talented musicians.

The concert will start at 17:00 at the Londa’s Caprice Restaurant on Sunday 9th April.

Ticket Price - 20 euro per person includes a welcome drink (children 6-12 years € 10). A snacks and drinks menu will be available.
