CIDA’S ODACE PROGRAM

PARLIAMENTARY STUDY TOUR: APRIL 10-14, 2005

Aim:

The purpose of the study tour is to generate increased political support for ODA in the participating Partner Countries. To that end, delegates will gain a greater awareness of the importance of international development to the wider government agenda, of alternative approaches to planning and delivering ODA, and of the role of Canadian parliamentarians in approving funds, scrutinizing results, and supporting the delivery of international development.
