AGREEMENT OF SERVICE
TSTT Participant
I agree to serve as a tutor with the Today’s Student ~ Tomorrow’s Teacher (TSTT) program. I understand and commit to uphold my responsibilities as outlined below:
- In preparing for this role, I have reviewed the Washington State Educator’s Code of Professional Conduct with the TSTT Director; I understand and agree to uphold the Code as outlined in the document.
- In the role as a tutor, I understand that I am committing to investing in another student’s future. My behavior will be a reflection of my commitment tohis/her success.
- I will behave as a role model for those around me. In situations where I am working with other TSTT tutors Iwill contribute as part of a collaborative team that works together in support of students.
- Once a mutually agreed upon schedule is established, I will show up on time for every session. If circumstances beyond my control cause me to cancel or to be late then I will contact the Site Liaison so they can inform my student of the situation. I understand that failing to communicate about any scheduling changes could cause me to lose my position with TSTT.
- My top priority will always be helping students who need the most support.
- As a TSTT tutor I will expect to be treated fairly and respectfully by my student(s). If I experience a problem with the behavior of my student(s) I will contact the Site Liaison and TSTT Director immediately to discuss the situation.
- I will keep a record of hours worked so I can submit them to the TSTT Director. I understand that I will receive payment according to the hourly rate indicated below and that I will only be paid based on my submitted hours.
