Disney World is the all time vacation spot in the United States. Vacationers can have a different adventure every day. There are thrilling rides, food from around the world, first class shows, shopping that even the little ones can enjoy, and fun water parks. You can meet all of your favorite Disney cartoon characters too. You can even have breakfast with them. It is a theme park that has it all.
Some people may say that Disney is too expensive. Yes, a Disney vacation is not cheap, but most good vacations cost money. If you go to Wildwood, New Jersey for a week in the summer, a family could spend just as much and maybe more than if they spent the week in Disney. Beside, going to Disney allows you to get away from the area, and normal life, and allows you to be fully involved in your adventure and fantasy.
Disney is for the whole family. No matter what the ages, Disney is fun for all. It has thrilling rides like Mission Space and The Rocking Rollercoaster, great water parks like Typhoon Lagoon, where you ride the waves or swim with the sharks. There is shopping from around the world and new foods to try in Epcot. Most hotels offer babysitting services while adults can have a nice evening out. Disney even has a virtual reality arcade, a circus from France, and a zoo-like theme park with live animals and you can go on a safari in Africa.
Disney is not anymore expensive than a trip to the Jersey Shore for a week in the summer. Currently, Disney is offering a package deal for a family of four. The family can stay for 5 nights and six days at a value resort for $1600. This includes park tickets, and most of meals. If you drive from Philadelphia then you travel costs will increase because of gas prices, hotel stays, and tolls. These add about $500 to the cost. So for about $2100 a family of four can spend 5 nights and 6 days in Disney. How much would a family spend in Wildwood if they rented a house for the same period and played on the boardwalk?
