What’s in store…

Now that students are well-rested, it’s time to hammer down for the next 18 weeks! My job will be to continue to have students work more independently, think more constructively, and apply skills already taught. I will remind students of test taking skills, but I will not send work repeatedly back to a student to correct. Points will be deducted for lack of information and grammar. When an open book assessment is given, students are expected to take their time and look for every answer! Tests will no longer be read to the students. Directions will be followed the first time to allow for more instructional time. Too much instruction time is wasted when directions are repeated for lack of paying attention. Beginning 3rd quarter, students will be losing 10 points for no names on papers.
