Punishments for Violations of On-site Management of Booth Construction

2 / Not using quality lifting tools or operation platforms for aloft work; not assigning special personnel to direct, supervise or arrange safety zones / RMB3000 as penalty, plus with severe punishments on major violators, if any
3 / Not presenting any qualification certificates or adopting prevention measures for special operations / RMB1000-RMB3000 as penalty, plus with suspension of construction and rectification
4 / Using structures of exhibition venues for hanging or binding purposes, without approval of the CAEXPO Secretariat / RMB1000-RMB2000 as penalty
5 / Building booths whose heights exceed the limit / The parts which exceed the height limit shall be dismantled and the deposits shall be retained.
6 / Using home-made stairs / RMB1000 as penalty, plus with rectification
7 / Admission to exhibition halls without approval / Clear-out, plus with RMB2000-RMB5000 as penalty
8 / Not following the design drawings that have been approved by the CAEXPO Secretariat / The deposits shall be deducted in full amount.
9 / Not following the instructions on the use of event passes / The passes shall be confiscated, plus with RMB200/person/time as penalty.
10 / Causing damages to facilities and equipments of exhibition halls / Paying compensation for the damages, with severe punishments on major violators, if any
11 / Not cooperating with management staff for the clear-out / Overtime pay by RMB2000/hour as penalty
12 / Not observing regulations on construction safety; not accepting, for three times, oral or written warnings given by on-site management staff / The deposits shall be deducted in full amount.
13 / Not observing regulations on construction safety and causing safety incidents / The construction enterprises concerned shall be held liable for all responsibilities and consequences thus incurred.
14 / Structures / Using unqualified structures which lead to collapse of booths (“Unqualified structures” refer to those that do not meet loading strength standards.) / The booths shall be isolated and the deposits shall be deducted in full amount. The construction enterprises concerned shall be held liable for further consequences, if any.
15 / Dismantling standard booths, exhibition equipments or other facilities, without approval of the CAEXPO Secretariat / Paying all the expenditures for building a standard booth as compensation
16 / Extending the height of standard booths or building accessory parts on them, without approval of the CAEXPO Secretariat / RMB2000-RMB5000 as penalty, plus with dismantlement of the parts
17 / Building custom-built booths whose spans exceeding safety distance and refusing to make rectification / The booths shall be isolated and the deposits shall be deducted in full amount.
18 / Causing inclining, drooping or cracking of booths / The booths shall be isolated and the deposits shall be deducted in full amount.
19 / Use of Electric Power / Opening trench covers in exhibition halls, without approval of the CAEXPO Secretariat / RMB500 as penalty
20 / Using electric power for booth construction without approval of the CAEXPO Secretariat / Paying for the electric power fees, plus with RMB5000 as penalty
21 / Using unqualified electric materials or electric power equipment; not installing qualified leakage protectors / RMB2000-RMB5000 as penalty
22 / Not using rain-proof and warning signs for electric power equipment of outdoor booths / RMB1000 as penalty
23 / Processing, brushing, painting or paint spraying wooden structures in exhibition halls / RMB2000-RMB5000 as penalty, with severe punishments on major violators, if any
24 / Not using ground protectors for metal structures / RMB1000 as penalty
25 / Using unqualified wires like twisted pair, aluminum core wire, etc. / RMB2000-RMB5000 as penalty
26 / Not using plug connection for sockets; not using terminal for interface / Dismantlement, plus with RMB1000 as penalty
27 / Using plastic rectifiers / Dismantlement, plus with RMB1000 as penalty
28 / Fire Control / Bringing in and using cutting machines, welding machines, electric saws or air compressors in exhibition halls, without approval of the CAEXPO Secretariat / RMB1000-RMB2000 as penalty, plus with suspension of construction and rectification
29 / Using inflammables, explosives or other forbidden articles; making linkage with electric power source or water source, without approval of the CAEXPO Secretariat / RMB2000-RMB5000 as penalty, with severe punishments on major violators, if any
30 / Using flame, without approval of the CAEXPO Secretariat / RMB3000-RMB5000 as penalty, plus with suspension of construction and rectification
31 / Occupying passages or fire engine access; sheltering fire control facilities, public passages, electric power distribution boxes and surveillance cameras / Dismantlement, plus with RMB1000-RMB2000 as penalty
32 / Not reserving space for heat dissipation of light box / Rectification, plus with RMB1000-RMB2000 as penalty
33 / Not setting fire extinguisher within the set period of time for booth construction and decoration / RMB100/extinguisher as penalty, plus with immediate rectification
34 / Smoking at non-smoking areas / RMB50-RMB200/person/time
35 / Building booths whose tops are covered by more than 1/3 and refusing to make rectification / RMB2000-RMB5000 as penalty, with severe punishments on major violators, if any
36 / Not making fire retardant treatment to inflammables / RMB2000-RMB5000 as penalty
37 / Welding, cutting or polishing metals in exhibition halls / RMB3000-RMB5000 as penalty, plus with suspension of construction and rectification
38 / Booth Teardown / Brutal dismantling / RMB3000-RMB5000 as penalty, plus with suspension of construction and rectification
39 / Not assigning personnel for safety supervision / RMB2000-RMB5000 as penalty, plus with suspension of construction and rectification
40 / Civilized and Environment-friendly Construction / Fighting / RMB2000-RMB5000 as penalty, with severe punishments on major violators, if any. The violators shall be held liable for all the consequences thus incurred.
41 / Not making treatment on the ornaments which are higher than the next booth / RMB500-RMB2000 as penalty
42 / Using the pictures or words that are not approved by the CAEXPO Secretariat and refusing to make rectification / The deposits shall be deducted in full amount.
43 / Not cleaning the booths nor moving all rubbish and wastes out of exhibition halls and putting them at designated sites / RMB1000/36m2 as penalty (calculated by 36m2 if less than 36m2)
44 / Polluting floor or wall (with paint, fuel, wood glue or sticking film, etc.) / RMB1000-RMB2000/ m2 as penalty
Remarks:
  1. The rights of explanation on the punishments are reserved to the CAEXPO Secretariat.
  2. If the deposits has been deducted by more than a half, the construction enterprises concerned shall make supplementary payment before resuming construction.
