Rás Mumhan the 4-day International Cycle Race takes place around Killorglin, Co Kerry from Good Friday 22nd April until Easter Monday 25th April. 160 cyclists with a large number of support vehicles will take part in the race over the four days. Rolling road closures will take place along the route each day to facilitate the race convoy and delays can be expected. Killorglin Credit Union Cycling Club regrets any inconvenience caused.
Stage 1: Start in the Square Killorglin at 4:00pm. Friday April 22
Before heading onto N72, Coolbane X, Beaufort Bridge, Fossa, Ballydowney R/A & Cleeny R/A (Killarney), On N22, Madam’s Height, Kilcummin, Gneevguilla, Knocknagree. On R577. Scartaglen, Castleisland. At R/A. On N23. Lisheenabaun X, Currans, Ballyfinnane X. On R561, Brackhill X, On N70, Milltown, Kennedys X, Bansha X, Killorglin, Bianconi X. Finishing in Killorglin at approximately 6:30pm.
Stage 2: Start from Fitzgerald's Centra Homevalue in Main St Dingle at 12:00 noon. Saturday April 23
Goat Street, Milltown R/A. On R559 via Ventry, Slea Head, Dunquin, Ballyferriter. Ceathru an Caislean X, off R559 on to Mám na Gaoithe direction Ventry. On R559, direction Dingle. At Milltown X, on R559 direction Murreigh. At the T-junction, turn right on R549 direction Feothanach. At Feothanach, continue on R549 direction Dingle. At Milltown R/A, Dingle, The Tracks. The Tracks R/A. On N86. Lispole, Annascaul, Camp village, Camp X. On R560, Stradbally to the finish on Conor Pass at 15:30hrs approx.
Stage 3: Waterville and Valentia.
Start Waterville at 12:00, Sunday 24th April 2011
On Sunday at 12:00, 24th April, Stage 3 starts in Waterville, before heading on toN70, Inny Bridge, Pauline Sugrue Auctioneer, On R567, Emlaghmore, On R566, The Glen, Kilurley, Anagar Br. X, Creamery X, On N70, Cahersiveen, Barry's X, Mick Murphy's House, Coars, Raheens X, The Inny Tavern, Killenleigh, New Chapel X, On N70, Inny Bridge, Pauline Sugrue Auctioneer, Keinneagh Heights, Creamery X, On R565, Anagar Bridge, Portmagee, Valentia Bridge, Chapeltown, Coarha Beg, Portmagee, Anagar Br., The Glen, St. Finians Bay, Ballenskelligs, On R566, Aghatubrid X, On N70, New Chapel X, finishing in Waterville at approx 15:40.
Stage 4: Killorglin and Milltown.
Start Killorglin at 10:00am, 25th April 2011
On Mon 25th April, Stage 4 starts in Killorglin at 10am, before heading on to N72, Beaufort Bridge, Fossa. On R563, Faha Cross, Listry, Milltown. On N70 and on Killorglin where there will be 2 laps of this circuit. Then 10 laps of the Donal McKenna Circuit, Bianconi X, The Square, Langford Street, Ardmoniel X, Gormons X and Annadale Rd, before finishing up on the hill in Killorglin at approx 1pm.
