Since 1984 is engaged in doing translations from German into English and Marathi. Quite a few translations of German radio plays have been published in Marathi. Have been doing technical translations for various companies in and around Pune. e.g. Bajaj Auto Ltd., Thermax, Indian Organic Chemicals etc.
1984-1991 Started doing research work on the subject "Comparative study of German and Marathi Radio plays" in the Marathi Department of Pune University.
Went to Germany on DAAD scholarship to do research work for Ph.D.
Awarded Ph.D.
1993-1997 Worked as a research assistant in a UGC project entitled "Marathi Natyakosh", under Dr. V. B. Deshpande in Modern College, Pune.
1998-1999 Taught Marathi to American students from Minnesota Studies in International Development. I have been teaching Marathi to foreign students and German to Indian students privately.
1997-2002 Worked as an administrator in Maharshi Karve stree Shikshan Samstha's College and taught German.
2002-2005 Did translation of Marathi Krista-Puran into English and translated a Ph. D Thesis on Krista-Puran from English into Marathi.
2005-2006-7 Teaching German and Spoken English at Aikyabharati Pratisthan, Pune.

2007-2009 Worked as an administrator of an Institute of Foreign Languages affiliated to Yeshwantrao Chavan Mukta Vidyapeet, Nasik and taught German & English.
2009-2011 Since March 2009 worked at Seed Infotech, Pune, as a German language expert and teaching German. Have been doing corporate training in German. I have taught in Siemens, Cognizant, Hinjawadi and ICC tower, Senapati Bapat Marg as well as in Honeywell, Accenture, Magarpattacity. I have conducted more than 8 training programs of three or four months duration each.
2009-2010 I have taught English to an Italian CEO of Fiat at Ranjangao. I have taken 200 lessons of English lasting for about a year and half.
2009-13 I am working as a freelance German translator for many translation agencies. So far translated more than 100, 000 pages from German into English and vice versa.
2013 Taught English to two Italian persons in an Italian company, Brenbo, Pune.
2013-2014 Currently doing translation of Khrista-puran, which was translated by me from Marathi into English in 2005, now I am translating it into German and Hindi.
2015 I have translated a book on linguistics from English into Marathi
2016-17 I have been actively engaged in doing translations from German, Hindi, Marathi < > English
I have been doing translations for the last 22 years and have good command over Marathi, English, Hindi and German languages. Also have experience in teaching these languages. I also do proof reading in these languages.
