HAVERKAMP presents possibilities for system integration March 2008
HAVERKAMP in the “Impulse 2008” expert workshop series: The internationally operating security technology company from Münster supported this year’s series of advice events in Hannover, Hamburg, Leipzig and Berlin.
Security and communication technology specialists from industrial companies and public authorities came to learn more from HAVERKAMP security advisers Thomas Fischer, Miroslav Tatara and Werner Sielenkemper, among others, about innovative perimeter security installations and new possibilities for securing windows and doors. What was special about this year’s event was that it focused less than usual on technical details and more on the practical benefits of integrative systems. An interdisciplinary approach of this kind, involving several different suppliers from the communication and security technology fields, represented an innovation in the industry. Each of the firms taking part in the all-day workshops gave a practical presentation of its speciality, demonstrating how its particular area of expertise can be efficiently integrated into the complete system. Appropriately, the motto for the series of events, which also included information on statutory regulations, was: “A complete system is always more than the sum of its parts”.
The venues were the conference areas of the football arenas in the cities concerned. These were chosen because communication and security solutions are already installed there and were able to be integrated into the workshops.
