Course:This course requires a confident level and is conducted exclusively in French. It involves a variety of activities to develop speaking, listening, reading, writing and grammar skills.In term 1 ‘Les Rois Maudits’ by Maurice Druon will be read and discussed. We will also continue watching the French daily news and discussing it in French.

or $24 x 7 sessions = $168 (concession: secondary and tertiary students, pensioners)
Parking and finding the classroom: Parking is available off Murphy Avenue just before Church Street as you come down Minerva Road. Head towards the block of buildings nearest the car park. Look for the large Norfolk Island pines in the main courtyard. The classrooms we use are to the right of these trees as you approach them from the car park.
Payment of fees: Payment can be made by cheque (made out to ‘Alliance Française de Geelong’), by money order or in cash. Please try to bring correct amounts if paying in cash and place in a sealed envelope with name and class clearly indicated. Payment can be made in advance by sending cheque/money order to Alliance Francaise de Geelong, PO Box 8002, Newtown 3220
Please pay full term fees within the first two weeks of term. If you are unable to manage this, please let us know. Frequent contact with the language is crucial when learning a language so consistent attendance is highly encouraged. However, if you are aware at the start of term of an unavoidable commitment that will prevent you from attending one or more sessions, please discuss this with us and we will negotiate a reduction in fees. Please let your teacher know in advance which sessions(s) you know you will miss. Reimbursement for missed classes cannot be offered if you decide to drop out of the course or choose not to attend for a session or sessions. At our discretion, credit may be considered in special circumstances but cannot be given for casual absences.
