THE TASTE TEST (for everything BUT the chili)

The Committee has lifted the propaganda constraints that have been imposed in the past. Instead we will rely on the judges and our own "good taste".

The showmanship judges will reduce scores significantly for propaganda/flyers/etc., if:

· They could be construed as sexual harassment, bigotry, or just poor taste.

(Please, use good sense.)

· They damage government property or cost money to clean up. For example,

a few dollars for art gum avoids tape damage on the walls.

· They display team spirit outside the buildings where non-participants might

mis-characterize our organization. (Note that day of cook-off activities are

obviously outside.)

· They represent a threat to health and safety of any of the participants.

In addition to low scores, the Committee reserves the right to exercise appropriate actions for violation of the above guidelines.

REMINDER: All Teams must remove propaganda after the

Please factor this into your planning.
