Civil Ceremony

We have three rooms licenced for civil ceremonies including the Mill Room which is situated in our Grade II listed windmill, the Conservatory and our Mulino Suite accommodating ceremonies from 15 guests up to 100 guests. (Note: Registrar fees are separately arranged)

This includes the room set up with cream aisle carpet, tea lights, and crystal candles on the table for the signing of the register. The room will be made available for the registrar for 1 hour before and after the ceremony.

Silk Floral Package

We offer in-house silk floral arrangements for civil ceremonies to include;

  • 2 mirrored cubes with silk flowers,one medium and one large
  • 2 small mirrored cubes with silk flowers for the register and registrars tables
  • 2 large, floor standing floral urns
  • 6 silver lanterns for down the aisle
  • 2 wire obelisks.

At San Pietro a lot of attention is given to creating the perfect wedding menu for you – from fish and chips to lobster we can prepare your heart’s desire.

For your menu tasting you,the bride and groom, are invited into the restaurant to taste your shortlist of dishes and to try our wines, champagnes, and cocktails. This trial is complimentary as part of our bespoke wedding service (for weddings of less than 35 guests a nominal £50.00 charge applies).

Our Mulino suite is the ideal space to hold your evening entertainment be it a live band, tribute artist or disco we can assist you in making your party swing, however for numbers in excess of 100 we would recommend exclusive hire of the full restaurant.

If you have any questions, please feel free to speak to a member of the team before signing.

Therefore, the parties agree as follows:

1) DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:

(a) San Pietro do not accept responsibility or liability in respect of loss or damage to equipment, vehicles, or personal affects belonging to the hirer or their guests during the period of hire or when left overnight.

(b)The bride and groom will be responsible for making good any damage which may have been done to the premises, furniture, flooring or grounds by persons attending the function. A £250 damage waiver will be charged on the final invoice, which will be refunded within 7 days, upon request, if no damage occurs. Please be mindful that any items hired for use at your wedding, if damaged or stolen, will be replaced with your damage waiver funds.

(c)The bar will cease trading at 11:50pm and music will be turned off by 12.00am. All guests are required to vacate the premises by 12:30am.

(d)Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas on the venue, this includes use of electronic cigarettes. A smoking area will be made available with ash trays for proper disposal. The supply of illegal substances will not be tolerated: breach of these terms will result in the forfeit of the damage waiver.

(e)Our insurance only offers cover for the services we provide, all outside services such as entertainers MUST produce copies of their public liability insurance certificate 2 weeks prior to the event. All electrical equipment brought onto the premises MUST hold current P.A.T test certificates, failure to provide these documents the entertainer will be refused to right to set-up. Entertainers are required to liaise with management regarding the use of specialist equipment, power sources etc… please note should we not hear from the entertainer we may not be able to guarantee any of the above mentioned.

(f) Strictly no outside catering is allowed with the exception of the wedding cake or favours, no other food or drink may be brought onto the premises by the bride and groom or their guests, except by prior arrangement with management.

(g) Alcohol must NOT be brought onto the premises unless prior arrangement with management. In the event that any alcohol is brought or consumed onsite that has not been authorised or purchased for the bar, the damage waiver will automatically be forfeited and the guest(s) involved will be asked to leave the venue.

(h)The management reserves the right at all times under all circumstances to refuse admittance or service to any person or persons considered undesirable.

2) PAYMENTS FOR SERVICES:

The wedding couple agrees to pay an initial non-refundable deposit of £500.00 GBP to secure the date.

After the wedding planning meeting a pro forma invoice will be issued detailing all the anticipated costs for your wedding:
