There will be periods of work required outside of normal business hours, resulting from business requirements.
7.  / Purpose of Services / Provide high level services and high quality service delivery to support Shared Services Centre (SSC) operations in relation to delivering services to its clients. In particular to provide strategic direction and solution design for the midrange platforms (infrastructure architecture), predominantly Windows and some Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Provide input into a continual improvement process. Capable of providing high quality documentation for their work. It is desirable for the candidate to provide high quality support for one or more of the following platforms: RHEL platforms supporting SAS VA, SharePoint, Dynamics CRM or MS SQL.
Provide knowledge transfer in the areas of operation, advanced support and troubleshooting. Participate in and promote process improvement.
8.  / Performance / Services to be performed in accordance with department’s standards.
9.  / Documentation / The Department may provide to the Vendor Department Material and the Vendor must ensure that the Departmental Material is used strictly in accordance with any conditions or restrictions specified in item 9 of the Deed Details and any direction by the Department.
10.  / Skills knowledge transfer / The contractor will be expected to transfer skills and knowledge to departmental officers and/or other contractor as requested

1. Windows Infrastructure Architect with suitable experience in platform integration
2. Ability to provide strategic advice
3. Strong skills with Microsoft core technologies
Desirable Criteria:
1. One or more of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Microsoft SQL and SSRS, Sharepoint, CRM infrastructure solution design or platform support
2. Strong communication skills

Security Clearance Requirements
The minimum security clearance level for this particular position is: Negative Vet 1
All positions are “Trusted” and the successful candidate is required to undertake police check to be conducted by the department. Unfavourable outcome may result to early termination of the contract. This check will be arranged by the Shared Services Centre on commencement of the contractor. The Australian Government will meet the cost of police check.
