1. JOB INFORMATION
JOB TITLE: UK Sales Accountant
BAND: 3
DEPARTMENT: Finance
REPORTS TO: Group Reporting Manager
LOCATION: Central Services - Craigavon
2.  JOB PURPOSE
The role is based at the Moy Park UK Head Office in Craigavon. The jobholder reports through to the Group Reporting Manager but will be required to work closely with the Commercial Accounting teams.
The jobholder is responsible for providing a Sales reporting and accounting service for Moy Park UK. This covers a sales revenue budget of £1.1m and an overheads budget of £7m.

4.  DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES
·  Preparation of weekly UK & Ireland sales accounts including commentary on performance against previous week
·  Preparation of weekly UK & Ireland sales estimates
·  Preparation of monthly UK & Ireland sales accounts reconciled to general ledger, including management of customer overider provisions, goods shipped not invoiced and reconciliation of inter company debt.
·  Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations including detailed support for overrider and retro accruals and Goods Shipped Not Invoiced.
·  Preparation of monthly sales reports for Moy Park and JBS reporting requirements
·  Preparation of monthly accounts for UK & Ireland sales overheads
·  Preparation of annual budgets for UK & Ireland sales overheads
·  Consolidation of annual sales budgets
·  Reporting on impact of customer price and discount changes
·  Management and development of the QlikView sales reporting system
·  Management of internal customer agreement documentation
·  Support Commercial and Commercial Finance teams by developing reporting systems as required
·  Day to day coordination of workload of Assistant Accountant
5.  MEASURABLE OUTPUTS
·  Adherence to weekly reporting timetable
·  Adherence to monthly reporting timetable
·  Reconciliation of management accounts to financial accounts
·  Clear and accurate presentation of reports
6.  KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Essential / Desirable
·  Qualified accountant with at least 2 years post qualification experience or qualified by experience
·  Ability to meet strict deadlines
·  Degree level education
·  Numerate
·  Strong attention to detail
·  Strong spreadsheet skills, specifically Excel
·  Microsoft office
·  Good team worker
·  Strong communication skills and the ability to produce clear and accurate reports. / ·  Experience of ERP packages, specifically Protean would be of advantage
·  Experience of Qlik View would be of advantage
·  Experience of food manufacturing would be of advantage
·  Experience of working in a sales & commercial environment
·  Experience of accounting for sales revenue and customer discounts
·  Previous people management experience
