Hacking Championships

Dogs must be kept on leash under adult supervision at all times
General Conditions:
· Riders must be FULLY FINANCIAL and must ride their regular Riding Club mount.
· 2 qualifications required– You must have attended 2 rallies prior to this competition day, this may be mounted or unmounted. If you do not have 2 mounted or unmounted qualifications, you are still able to compete but points obtained will not count towards the end of year trophies.
v Hacking attire or Club uniform – Approved Riding Helmet – AS3838 or equivalent, shirt, tie, hacking jacket, jodhpurs, boots and Club saddlecloth. Members competing in Club uniform will not be penalized but must wear white shirt, green tie, green jumper etc. (No chappettes to be worn).
v All competitors and spectators are advised that horse sports are dangerous and there is a risk of accidents occurring which may injure you.
v The Committee reserves the right to alter or cancel any event or to divide any TWO or more events, also where the number of starters in any event is less than THREE the event may be combined with a similar event. In order that every Member has an equal chance of winning trophies at the end of the year only FOUR events will count towards points for the HI PINE PERPETUAL TROPHY. All events however, will count towards the HACK PERPETUAL TROPHIES.
v Riders being led must be led throughout the whole day.
v Riders entering Walk/Trot classes must remain Walk/Trot all day.

1. Smartest on Parade, Riders under 10years
2. Smartest on Parade, Riders 10years and under 18years
3. Smartest on Parade, Riders 18years and over
4. Monte Carlo - Riders all ages
LED RIDERS EVENTS 5- 8 (not eligible for any other ridden events other than Championships)
5. Led Hack (all heights)
6. Led Rider (all ages)
7. Led Riding Club Mount (all height) (to be ridden in a snaffle)
8. Led Pleasure Hack (all heights) (no whips, spurs and snaffle only)
CHAMPION AND RESERVE CHAMPION LED RIDER (all led riders are eligible)
9. Maiden Hack (any height) (to be split on the day depending on entries) - Not having been placed 1st at any open show or Gymkhana (Not eligible for Events 10-13)
10. Pony Hack ne 14hh
11. Galloway over 14hh and ne. 15hh
12. Hack over 15hh
13. Walk/Trot Hack (all heights) (Not eligible for Events 9-12)
14. Maiden Rider under 18 yrs - Not having been placed 1st at any open Show or Gymkhana (Not eligible to compete in Events 15-17)
15. Rider under 10 yrs
16. Rider 10 yrs and under 18 yrs
17. Walk/Trot Rider under 18 yrs (Not eligible for Events 14-16)
