Living Obituary of Yohan Collure
Yohan Collure possesses a vibrant, unmistakable personality that permeates through each and every room he enters. It’s like a breath of fresh air when you are in his presence; there is no cookie cutter for the rare traits he embodies. He is a very humorous person and can make light of any given situation. Due to his sarcastic nature it is hard not to smile when conversing. Yohan is blessed with an amiable personality allowing him to get along with any sort of crowd. He is compassionate about his beliefs and will courageously stand by his morals. He has a heart of gold and acts selflessly.
Born in San Francisco and raised in San Diego Yohan arises to the west coast every morning. Living in this atmosphere has molded the young adult he continues to personify. He loves going to the beach and enjoying the outdoor aroma. Far from a couch potato, Yohan is quite the busy body. He enjoys playing just about any sport under the sun, for fun or competitively. He also loves to follow professional sports teams. His preferred sport is football and would have loved to see the San Diego Charges in the Super Bowl. He also loves Purdue football and all the festivities involved, especially tailgating.
Yohan has a tight-nit immediate family. Though he has reached adulthood he is still his mother, Cherene’s, little boy. The relationship they share has no boundaries. They have endless conversations and exchange much advice. His father, Neil, holds more of the disciplinary position. He is a very reliable man with a great deal wisdom that he bestows upon Yohan. Neil is a mentor to Yohan and continues to guide him to success. His sister Nisha is basically his best friend. The two plan on once again living together after Yohan graduates, and also hope to employ for the same company.
Yohan will complete his journey here at Purdue University in December 2007. He will graduate with a degree in financial planning and counseling and a minor in econ. He is the rush chairman, treasurer, and historian of Theta Chi fraternity. He greatly enjoys being involved with such a great group of young men who share his ambitious. Other clubs he is involved in are Big Brother Big Sister and Phi Sigma Epsilon, which is a sales fraternity.
To meet Yohan is a privilege and, if given the opportunity, we should all accept. He is genuinely a good-natured person and on his way up to the stars. When you surround yourself with greatness it rubs off and Yohan fits this desired description faithfully.
