JACQUELINE STUYT LEGACY
Description and Criteria
1. Investment of the legacy
The legacy will be earmarked for special projects for the duration of 10 years.
Indication - based on the rates of summer 2009: a legacy of £ 200.000 will give over a period of 10 years an available amount of approx. € 24.000 per year.
Final conditions can be arranged at the time the whole legacy has been paid to EFECW.
2. Funding will be open to all National Ecumenical Forums of Christian Women in Europe and also for extraordinary and honorary members (see Constitutions §4a).
3. Projects should focus on women's demands and perspectives - but of course, when important to the issue, men should be involved too. It is important that projects have an international character and therefore that National Forums work together.
4. Projects must comply with the aims of EFECW. The maximum amount granted is € 7,000.
5. Applications must present a comprehensive application form, a realistic budget, and show 20% own funding plus other financial sources (see the budget-template).
The following documents are necessary:
a)Project description (see APPLICATION FORM)
b)Budget (see BUDGET)
c)Annual report of your organisation
d)Annual financial report from your organisation
e)Constitution of your organisation if you are not a full member of EFECW
and within 2 months after finishing the project:
f)A narrative report (using the template on website)
g)A financial report (income + expenses, invoices/receipts covering the amount received from JSL in original or PDF)
And for communication purposes (EFECW):
h)Produced material from the project
i)Pictures / Videos etc.
N.B. A project can run from one to three years.If a project lasts longer than 1 year, there should be at least one report in the middle of the term

8. Procedure: The CC autumn meeting (each year) will appoint 4 women as an evaluation-group. This group is formed by: the treasurer of EFECW + one member of the actual CC + 2 well-experienced women from different regions of the Forum. The group will consider the applications and ask for further information when needed. The group will nominate projects up to the amount available for the coming year. The CC spring meeting will take the final decision and the applicants will be informed by the end of April. The application form will be available on the website of the Forum.
9. The projects approved will be monitored by one the of the original evaluation group.
10. Every year an evaluation should be held; in 2015 the CC revised theforms and criteria.
