COURSE:

q  Markers should be placed to reflect yardage point from which the course was rated.

GREENS:

q  Place hole locations six centered, six back, and six forward.

q  Hole placement is identified by colored flag or location – be specific: Hole locations sheets on carts

BUNKERS:

q  Rakes are to be placed in bunkers. Handles out, perpendicular to edge.

SIZE OF FIELD AND FORMAT:

q  Number of players: Maximum 80 Minimum: 24

q  Realistic time to complete the round for outside players: 4 ½ hours

PRO SHOP:

q  One 6-foot table and 2-3 chairs for collection of breakfast, bottled water, lunch and cart fees by 18-Hole Women’s Group.

§  Number of host club members needed to collect money: 2

§  Amount to be collected from each player: $60.00

q  One Cash Box with change.

q  One 6-foot table for WGANC scorecards (no chairs).

q  Ready by: 7:00 a.m.

q  Location: weather permitting – outside member door. Alternative, upstairs outside the grill.

WOMEN’S COMMITTEE:

GENERAL

q  Dress Code – Dresses, slacks, Capris, skirts, skorts, shorts no shorter than mid-thigh and golf shirts. Jeans, cutoffs, sweat pants, warm-up suits, tank tops, halter-tops, swim wear, tennis dresses, short shorts or other athletic or spandex shorts not permitted.

q  Players must adhere to the host club’s dress code on both the golf course and the premises of the club. The Pro Shop and/or the women’s 18-hole group of the host club will enforce the dress code, not WGANC.

q  Cell phones can be used as a distance-measuring device and as a phone in cases of Emergency.

q  Location of restrooms on course: Clubhouse, near 2nd tee and 3rd green, left side #7, end of #11, near 16th tee.

q  Special decorations are not necessary.

Santa Rosa Golf & Country Club was founded in 1916 and relocated to its present location in 1959. Santa Rosa Country Club is a beautiful parkland golf course lined by gorgeous oaks and located in the heart of the Sonoma Wine Country.
