2016 Rip Van Winkle Wine Festival

The Fortnightly Club of Catskill will be hosting its 10th Annual Rip Van Winkle Wine Festival for its Spring Fundraiser at the Historic Catskill Point, a spectacular venue located directly on the Hudson River at the end of Main Street. Guests will sample and purchase wines and cheese from a limited group of select New York state wineries and cheese makers. To further tempt the palette, patrons will have the opportunity to taste distilled products and brews along with baked goods, chocolates and other tasty items. There will be other items available for purchase also.
Wineries, distilleries, brewers, and cheese makers along with artisans and makers of foods from the local area are invited to demonstrate and sell their goods. The cost to participate in the festival is a $75.00 table fee. The $75.00 fee includes one table and one wine glass per vendor. Additional tables will be offered at a cost of $10.00 per table.(No additional outside tables allowed) Any staff accompanying the vendor will be charged $10.00 per additional glass requested. The Fortnightly Club has gone through the NYS Department of Agriculture and received designation as a Farmers Market and as such vendors are able to legally sell sealed bottles of wine. We have liability insurance as does the Point.
The women of the club will be on-hand the day of the festival to assist in setting up and keeping things running smoothly. We will be providing glasses, water and spit-buckets. We will no longer be providing ice, and tablecloths.

Please note that there is an additional fee of $10 per additional table.

We ask that Vendors be present to set up no earlier than 10:00 and be prepared for guests’ arrival at 11:50. Please plan to stay through the end of the day. We are expecting between 500 - 600 guests.
