CILTHK Visit:Hong Kong International Airport

Following the seminar on “Future Development of Hong Kong International Airport and its Green Initiatives”on 11th July 2013, Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) is offering an exclusive airport visit for members of CILTHK in September. At this event, AAHK’s General Manager, Environment, Mr. Peter Lee will give members a briefing on an overview and airport development of the Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA), followed by an airfield tour. Members will be able to understand more about real-time airport operations by visiting airfield facilities such as the Integrated Airport Centre and the Baggage Handling Hall.

9:35 am / Assemble outside Tung Chung MTR Station –Exit B
9:45am / Leave for Hong Kong International Airport (by coach)
10:00am / Arrive HKIA
10:05 am / Briefing on an overview and airport development (with QA session)
11:00am / Tour of airfield facilities
12:30 pm / End of the visit and depart HKIA for Tung Chung MTR Station by coach
