Youth leader “How To” Download
Here are the steps to registering your group for the 2017 High School Gathering on Mackinac Island
- Preregistration – Go to Fill in the needed info. Pay $350 by church credit card or send in a church check to the Michigan District office.
- The preregistration process is used to gauge interest in the event.
- The $350 is non-refundable, but will be applied to the group total.
- The $350 deposit does NOT reserve any spots for the gathering.
- A confirmation email will be sent after receiving your preregistration. This email will include forms for adults, youth, housing, and servant registration if you paid by church credit card. If you paid by church check, you will be emailed the forms after payment is received.
- Forms – There are 4 types of forms that will need to be turned in by MARCH 1,2017 (youth, adult, housing, and servant event).
- All forms MUST be typed. If handwritten forms are received, they will be sent back. The forms you’ll receive are fillable and can be completed online.
- We strongly encourage the youth leader to email the forms (adult or youth) to the group and have them fill it out on the computer. The participant will then have to print off the completed form, sign it (pastoral signature needed for the adult form), and hand it back to the youth leader.
- Housing and Servant Event form – to be filled out by the youth leader.
- Youth leader will then mail all the forms to the district office or email them to Gail Milatz at
- Deadlines
- All forms are due to the District office by March 1, 2017
- Any substitutions are due to the District office by March 31, 2017
- Final payment balance due to the District office by May 1, 2017($350 deposit will be subtracted from final payment).
- Cancellations will be accepted by the District Office until May 1, 2017.
