Dear Parents,
HI!!We’ve had another GREAT week!!! PLEASE continue to check your child’s planner and home folder each day. It helps so much to keep them organized. OUR Field Trip to Busch Stadium is this Thursday!! Please make sure your child has a sack lunch and a drink. Also, they need to know where they are supposed to go when we return at 4:00 p.m. THANK YOU SO MUCH for all your support!!!!!

LOOK WHAT WE’RE STUDYING:
MATH (Mrs. Rectenwal)- We are working on Fractions: Topic 8 and 9 this week. The topic 8 test was today.Please remind your child to study their multiplication facts. If they know their multiplication facts, all math topics will be easier.The next 0-12s test is Thursday. CONGRATULATIONSTOALEJANDRO, ADRIAN, AHMAD,JAYDEN, DAILYN, KENNETH, KAELYNN, ANDRE, AND MAKIAH. THEY DO NOT HAVE TO TAKE ANOTHER MULTIPLICATION TEST UNTIL AFTER SPRING BREAK!!!!
Science (Mrs. Rectenwal)-We are studyingCOMPLETE CIRCUITS, CONDUCTORS AND INSULATORS.
Spelling/Word Work /Grammar (Mrs. Scott)-NO LIST THIS WEEK.
Writing (Mrs. Rectenwal)-We are working on our informational writing on our famous African American.
Reading (Mrs. Rectenwal)-We are working on finding evidence in text to support our thinking. We are also reading just-right books.
Social Studies (Mrs. Adkins)-Students are learning the 3 levels of government and the 3 branches of government.
REMINDERS:
- Remind your child to study their 0- 12s multiplication facts this week.
- 600 READING CALENDAR-Students should read 30 minutes each night and fill in the minutes on their calendar. The January calendar is due Feb. 1.
- FIELD TRIP TO BUSCH STADIUM IS THURSDAY, FEB. 2. STUDENTS NEED A SACK LUNCH AND DRINK. PLEASE HAVE YOUR CHILD WEAR COMFORTABLE CLOTHING. WE WILL WALK EVERYWHERE.
- NO DRAMA CLUB PRACTICE FOR 4TH GRADERS THIS Thursday.
