SOCIAL

24th August – “Thanks to Martin and Ann Venning for organising our recent club barbecue and beach games. We had great fun playing an interesting variant of cricket, a water carrying relay and a flip-flop throwing contest. Jade Pilsbury took the honours for the ladies with an impressive throw which was longer than most of the men’s, including her hushand’s! Alan Littlejohns took the men’s title quite comfortably! There must have been around 10 barbecues going with everyone looking for space to cook their chosen foods. It became quite exciting if a little panicked as the tide engulfed us…not easy decamping quickly which included the need to move all of the hot barbecues! A really enjoyable event.” Peter Thorp

27th August – Bude RATs joined us for our Training Night runs and 45 runners enjoyed various distances followed by cake provided by Lavinia Marshall!

TREGGY 7 - 1st September

The Club needs as many volunteers as possible to help before, on-the-day and afterwards. If you are running, please try to get a friend or relative to help with marshalling. Please contact Kevin or Lavinia Marshall at

The club also needs cakes for the cake stall. Could you still make one? Please contact Kevin or Julie Bariball Tel 01566 774465.
