The Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a world-leading organisation. The primary objective of this role is to assist the Store Manager in achieving the highest sales possible in the store, whilst ensuring an efficient and co-operative working environment, excellent customer service and consistent store standards. The role will require superb decision making skills as you will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in all aspects of their role as well as taking complete responsibility for the running of the store in his/her absence. The role also requires someone with strong leadership skills who is capable of training and developing the team in the store. And for the right candidate there is a clear prospect of a store management position within a short time frame.

The Candidate

You will need to be structured and organised with the responsibility of the training and development of employees in there store, it is essential that you are flexible and positive in your approach to work. This role is for an individual that has a real drive to be successful and involves daily challenges such as dealing with individuals that have queries or problems ensuring that they are resolved to the best of your ability at all times. It is essential that you are willing to learn as there is a comprehensive training programme provided where in your first 8-10 weeks you will learn all aspects of running a successful store and how to train and develop your team. On completion, this role will give you a solid grounding in retail management. This role is looking to attract individuals from a wide range of retail backgrounds, including supermarket, fast food and clothing chains where you can demonstrate strong management experience with a strong ability to motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
