A RESOLUTION adjourning the Senate in loving memory and honor of Charlene Tidwell Arnold.
With deepest respect and admiration, we pay homage and tribute to Charlene Tidwell Arnold, and we pause in silent reverence for her soul.
WHEREAS, Charlene Tidwell Arnold was born on June 18, 1920, a native of Albany, Texas, and longtime resident of Williamstown, Grant County, Kentucky, and she traversed these earthly bounds on September 24, 2005; and
WHEREAS, Charlene Tidwell Arnold was the loving daughter of the late Charles Raymond and Oma Lillian McMillan Tidwell; she also was preceded in death by a brother, John W. Tidwell, two sisters, Lilla Belle Head and Josephine White, and a granddaughter, Lori Lee Loomis; she was the adored mother of three daughters, Donna Pat Hensley, Sharon Loomis, and Barbara Knock, and three sons, Rodney Arnold, Michael Arnold, and Rusty Arnold; she was the proud grandmother of 10 grandchildren and she was the proud great-grandmother of ten great-grandchildren; and she also leaves behind a niece, Georgia Lee Tidwell, three nephews, Ronnie, Buddy, and Jack Head, and a sister-in-law, Lela Tidwell; and
WHEREAS, Charlene Tidwell Arnold was a devout member of Williamstown Baptist Church; she was a former waitress at Skyway Restaurant, the Harp House Restaurant, and the Halfway House Restaurant, all in Williamstown; and
WHEREAS, the passing of Charlene Tidwell Arnold has left a void that cannot be filled, and she is mourned across the length and breadth of the Commonwealth;
NOW, THEREFORE,
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky:

Section 1. The Senate does hereby express its profound sense of sorrow upon the passing of Charlene Tidwell Arnold, and extends to her family and friends its most heartfelt sympathy.
Section 2. When the Senate adjourns this day, it does so in loving memory and honor of Charlene Tidwell Arnold.
Section 3. The Clerk of the Senate is hereby directed to transmit three copies of this Resolution to Mr. Michael Arnold, 1116 North Main Street, Williamstown, Kentucky 41097; Mr. Rusty Arnold, 1116 North Main Street, Williamstown, Kentucky 41097; and Mr. Rodney Arnold, 1116 North Main Street, Williamstown, Kentucky 41097.
