Designed, Simulated and introduced a HIGH PERFORMANCE metal cuttingEnd mills for Aerospace and Automobile industries, that can run up to 33000 rpm, reducing machining time and cost, resulted in increase in profit. This product is running successfully in market.

Direct the day-to-day activities of a team of six designers, drafters and manufacturing staff in the Design specification, Drafting protocols including GD & T, Design Simulation, process planning, BOMs preparation , verification and testing of cutting tools and associated fixtures.

Conduct standard engineering duties including specification interpretation,drawing and BOM preparation, Engineering Change Notification (ECN), Deviation process, Client Engineering Specifications, and Laboratory Procedures, along with inspection of test tools and fixtures after production. Employ AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and SolidWorks Simulation (COSMOS) on a daily basis.

Optimize team performance by an inclusive, interactive approach throughout the design and prototyping stages, resulting in products with better performance characteristics and reduced production costs.

Collaborate with clients or outside suppliers on new designs and specifications. Conduct key technical assessments and planning an appropriate design and manufacturing strategy minimizing costs and risk.

Successfully executed new designs to existing products and custom tool that have enhanced the tool life upwards to 13%.

Implemented the use of the optical measurement unit (Walter Helicheck) for the quality checks reducing set-up time up to 15% ,depending on the complication of the design, while lowering the overall production time by 10%.

The company provides Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) coating services for manufacturers for Aerospace, Automobile and Medical Industries.

Designed and simulated a series of holding fixtures that enables the operator to accommodate different size of the work piece for pre cleaning before applying PVD metal coating to increase the working life of the work piece by 15 % while reducing the cleaning cycle times by 18%.

Used AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and SolidWorks Simulation (COSMOS) for conceptual and detailed design of fixtures to meet the appropriate requirements for the PVD coating process. Prepared drawings, Production sequence, BOMs and ordered tools.
