COREJOB DESCRIPTION –HUMAN RESOURCES & TRAINING ADMINISTRATOR
This job description is a statement of the core duties of aHuman Resources and Training Administrator.
Accountability
The post holder is accountable to the Office Manager.
Role and Responsibility
The core responsibility of the HR and Training Administrator is to support the existing team in maintaining the HR and Training administrative functions of the organisation at the registered office.
The post holder has a requirement to uphold the values and principles of the organisation and will be the first point of contact and must therefore present a positive and professional image of the organisation.
Main Responsibilities
The HR & Training administratorwill be employed to deal with:
- HR Support - ensure personnel records for all staff are maintained and regularly updated including:
Maintaining accurate contact details for all staff
Ensuring photo identification for all staff are issued and up to date
Issuing change of contract information
- Recruitment support - support the Recruitment Manager with:
Co-ordinating interview timetables
Conducting initial telephone screening interviews if requested
Ensuring all relevant paperwork for new starters is completed
Commencing DBS check for already employed staff members
Attendance at recruitment fairs if required
- Training Support
Ensuring staff are booked onto required training and have details of the respective training courses
Ensuring staff are registered and enrolled onto e-learning courses and checking courses are completed in required timescales
Ensuring individual training records and the training database are kept up to date
Reviewing non-attendance at training courses
- Office Support
Answering incoming calls, taking messages and dealing with client queries
Greeting visitors
Ordering stationery and office supplies
Taking meeting minutes
Co-ordinating the distribution of monthly payslips
General administration support
The responsibilities of the post holder are reviewed regularly and subject to change where necessary.

EXPERIENCE1 / Experience of working in an office environment and maintaining key administrative systems / Essential
SKILLS
2 / Excellent planning & organisation skills and an ability to manage a varied and changing workload / Essential
3 / Good interpersonal and communication skills – articulate and a good communicator / Essential
4 / Ability to work independentlyand with minimal supervision / Essential
