World Book Presentation – New rep. Richard Baxter. 817-751-0431 New timeline feature. World Book e-books available with database pricing structure (yearly subscription). $0.75 per student.
Weeding Procedures–DeAnne is making form for us. Two weeding categories – Damaged and Donate. We need the number of books in each of the two categories. DeAnne can help with assigning a dollar value. In the Donate category – please remove any identifying labels. Discussion was held about marking the books with the word “Discard” or “Weeded” in order to prevent books from being returned to your library. Books will be picked-up at end of school year.
Transition Support – Denisha has found a company that will help with book repair. She brought samples of books that they had repaired. Company name is Llibrary Integrated Solutions. They will present on June 10. Discussion was held about contracting with them for next year at a district level – set price for year, no per book repair cost (unlimited books).
DeAnne is willing to work on district-level volunteer recruitment and training. Ideas include using our district library website for recruitment and training. More to come this summer.

Purchasing Deadline – March 7, 2014. Please notify DeAnne if you are NOT spending all your budget money. She will reallocate the remainders and accept requests from those who need additional funds.
Follett Software Support – has free Webinars and Training Videos available. Hopefully these will help.
